French Label - Le Mont St Michel

While in Paris I found this label in the Palais De Tokyo BlackBlock shop, which is so hot on design it makes me go silly with the bank card. I have trawled through so many google pages to try and find the fine knit jumpers I saw in there that had brilliant geometric patterns but no luck. I found some items on Urban Outfitters along with this description...

"Dating all the way back to 1913, French brand Le Mont St. Michel has been able to mix its tradition with a modern sensibility to produce alluring feminine clothes with edge. At the helm of the brand is Alexandre Milan who counts Britain as an influence for its culture of knitted fabrics, as well as Japan for its modernity and easy style. It is through these observations - places, eras, and genres of music that Alexandre Milan has created a brand whose look embodies both its traditional background and French style in a modern way."

Strange Visitors

I've never been that keen on birdwatching, what with Bill Oddie doing his best to make it seem like the domain of jibbering egotist losers (no offence to the genuine bird lovers).
But today I was privileged enough to witness two birds larking about (guffaw) on the roof outside the studio.
I was shooting some new work and saw them through the window, and with a zoom action speedier than the eyeballs of any superhero I managed to get a couple of decent snaps.
I swear the brown one actually stopped and posed and the plumage on the second bird is so striking that I can see those colours working in a print, we shall see.
